Answers to the FAQ's:
You can register online until 5:00pm on Thursday, June 11. If you miss that deadline, you can register onsite. Registration is on the 6th Floor of the Marriott Marquis, and opens at 7:30am on June 12.
You are free to attend any session in any of the tracks. You are not limited to a track, and you do not have to sign up to attend any specific session.
Dress is Business / Business casual.
If you did not receive your badge in advance, come to the 6th Floor FRDNY Registration desk and pick up a new one. Badges are mailed ten days before the conference.
If a colleague can't attend, and someone wants to go in their place, the new attendee MUST bring the badge with them in exchange. Without the exchange, we must charge the full registration fee.
If you got an envelope from FRDNY in the mail - it has your badge inside. Do not come to registration. Go to the 5th Floor, get your conference tote bag, the conference program, and your badge holder. Visit the SolutionsCenter while you are on the 5th Floor.
If you pre-ordered a special luncheon because of dietary needs, you must pick up your dietary card at the registration desk during the 10am break. The waiter will only deliver special meals to registrants with this card. We cannot provide special meals that were not pre-ordered.
If you need to cancel, email firstname.lastname@example.org your information. There is a cancellation fee of $50 before June 1, and no refund after that. If the badge has been mailed, you must return it before the conference in order to receive a refund.
There is no half-day registration fee.
Keynote Speaker: Emily K. Rafferty, President of The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Crowdfundamentals – What your nonprofit needs to know about Crowdfunding
The Art of Relationship Mapping
Sponsored by Blackbaud
|Sponsored by Relationship Science|
The next big fundraising idea will come from the crowd. It is true of yesterday; it is true today and will be true tomorrow. Crowdfunding, the practice of financing a cause or project by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people, has been around for a long time. And so, the practice of crowdfunding isn’t new, but its wide adoption — fueled by hundreds of online crowdfunding websites — has changed the fundraising landscape. While nonprofits have always used crowdfunding principles, we are now closely following the growth of new fundraising platforms and contemplating what to do in response.
The pressure to make meaningful connections with potential donors is on the rise, and the timeline for doing so is compressing rapidly. The fastest way to a potential donor is via an existing relationship, but it’s not always clear “who knows whom.” In this session, we’ll explore how new technology companies, like Relationship Science, effectively identify the relationships your board members, donors, alumni and other stakeholders have with prospects. Hear how your organization can leverage new technology to enhance and accelerate your development work. We’ll share best practices for turning these discoveries into actionable next steps.
