Fundraising Day in New York 2017 “Helping Small Shops Succeed in the Big City”

The majority of nonprofits are small organizations. Rarely do they get the attention that larger organizations get, especially in New York City, which is home to so many major institutions.

But at Fundraising Day in New York we believe smaller organizations need to be heard, and to have their unique challenges addressed. And so we’ve dedicated an entire track (4 sessions) to “Small Shops”:

  1. Major Gifts Pop-Up Coaching: The Art of the Ask 8:45-10:00am
  2. “Fish or Fowl? Establishing Your Nonprofit’s Brand Personality 10:45-12:00pm
  3. Beyond the Rubber Chicken: 30 Event Ideas in 60 Minutes 2:00-3:15pm
  4. A Brave New World: Managing the Impact of a Changing World on Your Organization  3:45-5:00pm

Many speakers are themselves from small shops. Others who are now at mid-size or large organizations (such as Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, CCS Fundraising, New York Women’s Foundation, BizBash, City Parks Foundation, and Jewish Community Foundation of MetroWest New Jersey) earlier in their careers spent time in smaller organizations.

Close to 2,000 people attend Fundraising Day in New York each year (making it the largest one-day conference on fundraising and philanthropy in the country). Whether you are a fundraiser, a volunteer, a philanthropist, a grant maker, a CEO, a board member, a consultant, or a company that services the nonprofit sector, you will feel proud to be among fellow members of the nonprofit community.

Fundraising Day in New York will take place on June 23 at the Marriott Marquis You can register now and take advantage of early bird discount rates.
